Network Cable runs
Not all cables are create equal. Most cables runs today are CAT 6 or CAT 6e. That is what we primarily install unless special circumstances demand something else.
The cat6 network cable offers a maximum transmission speed of 10 Gbps. It offers a 10 Gbps speed over a limited distance of 328 feet. If the distance is extended, the speed reduces to 1000 Mbps. Cat6e also supports internet speeds of up to 10 Gbps. While CAT 6e is used for data centers due to it's double frequency.

Wireless network are becoming more and more prevalent in the office environment these days. With more and more users and companies using mobile devices to do there work while having the freedom to roam anywhere around the companies building, wireless security and being able to separate one wireless network from that other is paramount. That's where we introduce VLANs. You can have up to 3 different Wireless network while only using one wireless access point. This is a big cost savings and allows for a more secure wireless enviorment.
